Frequently Asked Questions
Operational principles, sources, and publishing rules.
What is GoDataBank?
GoDataBank is a citation‑led reporting platform. Static Phase 1 publishes manually‑curated reports that already conform to the ALIS/Abacus citation format for Phase 2 automation.
Which sources are allowed?
World Bank, IMF, WHO, NHS, Gov.uk, ONS, Eurostat, OECD, UNHCR, and WTO. Reports must include document title, section/page, date, and a canonical ID.
Why are some topics missing?
Unsourced topics are suppressed by design. We only publish where we have verified, retrievable evidence.
Can I cite GoDataBank?
Yes. Each report page includes full citation blocks and a persistent URL. PDF downloads replicate the same citation structure.
How often do you update?
Static site updates occur as needed. Phase 2 will introduce scheduled fetches and automated ingestion.
